To maintain your CFE Credential, you are required to earn at least 20 hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) every 12-month period. At least 10 of these hours must relate directly to the detection and deterrence of fraud and 2 hours must relate directly to ethics. As a CFE, you are not required to complete Continuing Professional Education through the ACFE. CPE credit from any organization will be accepted as long as the course meets the requirements set for acceptable types of CPE credit and acceptable fields of study. The courses on our marketplace count toward fraud-related, ethics-related and non-fraud & non-ethics-related CPE under the ACFE’s acceptable fields of study.
