Each year Fraud Examiners are required to obtain Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits to stay current with the latest developments in the field. Browse courses that meet your requirements, or choose one of our course packages, specially curated to contain all the hours and credits you need, in one place. The courses on LearnFormula may be counted towards professionally relevant, verifiable learning activities. It is the student's responsibility to validate whether an activity is an eligible educational activity for their professional development requirements based on their own learning needs.
ASIS International board certifications — CPP, PSP, PCI and APP — each require 60 CPE credits per three-year certification cycle.
Your cycle ends on the last day of the month of your third anniversary of passing the exam. Credits must be earned within the cycle and cannot be carried forward.
How these courses count. ASIS awards CPE credit under Category 2 (Education) at one credit per instructional hour. Courses must run at least 30 minutes, are reported in 15-minute increments beyond that, and must relate to a domain of your certification.
How to claim. ASIS certificants self-report. Log in to your ASIS account, report the activity, link it to an exam domain of your certification, and upload your supporting documentation. Allow two to three weeks for review.
What to upload. ASIS asks for a course description, a certificate or letter of completion, and an agenda showing instructional hours. Your LearnFormula completion package contains all three in a single PDF. Your completion package will be shared with you over email within 5-10 business days after course completion. ASIS accepts up to three documents per credit, PDF or Word, 4MB maximum each.
Two limits to know.** No more than 21 CPEs per cycle may come from business management courses, and no more than 21 from safety-related programs.
Full details are in the ASIS Board Recertification Guide.
Fraud Examiners CPE courses are built around relevant, verifiable content that can be applied toward ASIS International Board Certifications (CPP, PSP, PCI, APP) CPE hours. As with any provider, it remains the member's responsibility to confirm an activity fits their own professional development needs before claiming it.
